City Seeks Local Organizations Interested in Holding the 2025 Monona Community Festival

The City of Monona is seeking Letters of Interest (LOI) from local organizations interested in continuing the Monona Community Festival in July 2025. Upon review of these LOI's, the City will determine if there are viable candidates from whom to submit formal proposals on holding this event in 2025.

The City acknowledges the time commitment that holding this type of event requires, including but not limited to a participating in a year-long planning process, securing of a facility use agreement with the City, coordinating vendors and volunteers, recruiting of sponsors and sponsorships, raising and investing of significant financial resources, and undertaking set up and take down. It is for this reason that the City seeks a new organization with the capacity to and capability to hold an event of this magnitude. Preferred organizations interested in holding this event will excel at meeting the following requirements:

• Experienced and dedicated local leadership with strong ties to Monona, along with a clear mission to benefit the Monona community.

• Ability to effectively coordinate, cooperate and communicate with City officials to plan, manage, fund and implement the event via a contracted professional event organizer.
