SCDOT preparing for Tropical Cyclone Eight impacts

​Columbia, S.C. (September 16, 2024)-The South Carolina Department of Transportation is preparing for potential impacts related to Tropical Cyclone Eight. Crews in the affected areas have been preparing and are ready to respond.

The potential for high winds means the possibility of debris in the roadway. SCDOT encourages anyone with an issue on a state-maintained roadway to call us directly at 855-467-2368.
