Introducing “The Wirecutter Show,” the first podcast from Wirecutter

Wirecutter is thrilled to announce the launch of "The Wirecutter Show," its first weekly podcast, which will offer expert advice on everyday problems and products to help listeners live better lives, as only Wirecutter can.

Each week, co-hosts Christine Cyr Clisset and Caira Blackwell, alongside executive producer Rosie Guerin, will chat with Wirecutter's best-in-class journalists and other guests who will provide guidance, life hacks, recommendations and so much more-all rooted in their authority and rigorous product-testing.

Launching Aug. 21, "The Wirecutter Show" will debut with two episodes, followed by weekly episodes. The first episode will reveal the secrets to better laundry (you will never think about the hot water cycle the same again). It will feature staff writer Andrea Barnes, who covers large appliances for Wirecutter and probably knows more about laundry than any journalist around.

The second episode will focus on how to keep your indoor air clean and healthy, with advice and insights from Wirecutter staff writer Tim Heffernan, a leading authority on air purifiers.

"The Wirecutter Show is rooted in the tremendous expertise of Wirecutter's 140 journalists, who will provide so much practical and actionable advice from their work," said Cliff Levy, Wirecutter's deputy publisher. "Each episode is going to yield often life-changing insights that will help listeners who are grappling with a range of everyday challenges, from eliminating food waste to safely traveling with pets to figuring out how to unplug from your phone."
