2024/09/27 MOL and Daibiru Pledge Support for Typhoon Relief Efforts in Vietnam

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL; President & CEO: Takeshi Hashimoto; Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) and Daibiru Corporation (Daibiru; President & CEO: Takashi Maruyama; Headquarters: Kita-ku, Osaka) today announced their intent to donate funds to assist those affected by Typhoon Yagi, which made landfall in Vietnam on September 7, and to aid in the reconstruction of the affected areas. MOL will contribute US$36,000 and Daibiru Group will contribute VND220 million. In addition, the MOL Group executives and employees will hold a fundraising campaign and donate the collected funds.

MOL and Daibiru offer their heartfelt sympathy to residents of the disaster-stricken areas and hopes for a speedy recovery, and will continue to contribute in various ways to support the victims and restoration efforts.
