Philadelphia, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that sign and barrier construction is planned at night next week on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia. A section of Tacony Street will also close for I-95 bridge construction.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
The lane and ramp closures are part of PennDOT's $329 million I-95 Central Access Philadelphia (CAP) Project that will replace and extend the cap over I-95 and Columbus Boulevard between Walnut and Chestnut streets.
The Tacony Street closure is part of PennDOT's $270 million I-95/BS2 project that will reconstruct I-95 in both directions from Margaret Street to Carver Street.
