UM-Flint honored the lives and legacies of U.S. service members at its 24th annual Veterans Day Remembrance ceremony, Nov. 11, as the campus community recognized the achievements and sacrifices of our nation's veterans. After breakfast in the Harding Mott University Center Michigan Rooms, Lt. Col. Derrick Britton of the U.S. Air Force and Michigan Air National Guard keynoted the ceremony. Another hallmark of the ceremony was the POW/MIA remembrance table, which reminded attendees that not all of our veterans come back home. The UM-Flint Chorale performed the National Anthem with the university's Wind Symphony and Brass and Percussion ensembles playing the Armed Forces song.
