Announcement of Prince Mahidol Award Youth Program Scholarship 2024

On 2 December 2024, Mr. Nikorndej Balankura, Director-General of the Department of Information, in the capacity of the Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Public Relations of the Prince Mahidol Award Foundation, attended a press conference to announce the scholars of the Prince Mahidol Award Youth Program (PMAYP) 2024, who will travel to study and conduct their research, participate in professional training courses, or work in community development abroad, for one year.

The Five Recipients of the Prince Mahidol Award Youth Program Scholarship for 2024 are as follows:

2. Mr. Kanathip Jongmekwamsuk

Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University

3. Ms. Chutibhorn Charnnarong

Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University

4. Mr. Thitipat Pattanaprateeb

Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University

5. Ms. Pannaporn Kalkoljuck

Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University

The Director-General congratulated the scholarship recipients and reiterated that the Ministry has long attached importance to the PMAYP and is ready to organize a preparatory briefing for them prior to their departure and to facilitate them during their stay abroad. In addition, he also expressed confidence that the achievements of the PMAYP scholars will further support the country's development, as well as help promote the Thai healthcare sector and personnel.
