NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF AVENAL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Avenal City Council of the City of Avenal will conduct a public hearing regarding Zoning Ordinance Amendment 2024-01 (Comprehensive Avenal Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance Update). The action would repeal the existing Avenal Zoning Ordinance (Title 9 of the Avenal Municipal Code) and Subdivision Ordinance and replace them with new ordinances. The project is exempt from further environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per CEQA Guidelines section 15061 (b)(3) (Common Sense Exemption).

Said hearing will be held Thursday, September 26^th, 2024, at 5:15 p.m., at the Avenal Theater, 233 E. Kings St., Avenal, CA 93204.

Anyone who may be interested in the proposed City Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances is invited to appear and present his/her comments, evidence or make statements of fact regarding said proposal.

Written comments will also be accepted during the public hearing.
