Former High School Teacher and Community Advocate Gillian Vivona Nominated as Ontario Liberal Candidate in King—Vaughan

VAUGHAN, ON - Gillian Vivona, former high school teacher and community advocate, has been officially nominated as the Ontario Liberal candidate for King-Vaughan.

"As a teacher, Gillian has seen firsthand the devastation Doug Ford's cuts have had in our classrooms, and will be a tireless advocate to ensure our children are given the best possible start in life.

As a dedicated high school teacher, elected President of an Association representing 2500 teachers, and a certified conflict resolution mediator, Gillian is a passionate advocate who will deliver results as she has countless times before.

Like you, she's concerned about making sure everyone has a family doctor, fixing traffic congestion, investing in schools, and making life better and more affordable.

As a long-time resident of Vaughan with husband Leo, children Dina and Leonardo and cat Mikey, Gillian has deep roots in this community and understands its needs.

Throughout her life, Gillian has worked hard to make a difference for her family, students, co-workers, and our community.

As MPP, she will work tirelessly for the residents of King-Vaughan.
