The City's youth grant for the International Decade for People of African Descent (IDPAD) is back for 2024 and now open for applications. Up to $25,000 is available to fund projects that support and empower Black youth in Victoria.
The grant is open to individuals of African descent, informal community groups and non-profit organizations led by people of African descent. The application period is open from October 23 to November 13, 2024.
The IDPAD youth grant is a community-led grant program, created, supported and overseen by the IDPAD Advisory Committee. The IDPAD Advisory Committee will evaluate applications and select projects to receive funding. Recipients will be announced by the end of November.
