REMINDER: Russell Prescott Is Out of Touch with Granite Staters

Ahead of tomorrow's WMUR debate in New Hampshire's First Congressional District, here's a reminder that Russell Prescott is completely out of touch with Granite Staters.

Five ways Prescott has proven he's too extreme to represent NH-01:

  • Prescott has shown he has blind loyalty to the leader of the MAGA movement, endorsing and standing behind Donald Trump.

  • Prescott undermined the rule of law and rushed to rally to Trump's defense after he was convicted of 34 felonies - proving he'd do anything to protect the convicted felon and enable his Republican Party bosses' extreme agenda.

  • Prescott's extreme 20-year anti-choice record is completely at odds with the overwhelming majority of Granite Staters - as a state senator, Prescott repeatedly voted to undermine a woman's right to choose.

  • Prescott's methodical efforts to attack working families date back to his time in the State Senate - from 2011 to 2016, Prescott voted against raising New Hampshire's minimum wage by as little as $1 per hour, against providing school district employees with family and medical leave, and against New Hampshire's Medicaid expansion. He also voted to raise the retirement age and gut retirement benefits for public servants, police, and firefighters.

Meanwhile, Chris Pappas has protected Social Security and Medicare for our seniors, worked to lower costs and invest in New Hampshire communities, and always fought to keep the government from trampling on women's reproductive freedom.

DCCC Spokesperson Ellie Dougherty:
"At every turn, Russell Prescott has proven he's completely out of touch with Granite Staters' priorities. New Hampshire voters will see once again in tomorrow's debate that Prescott will refuse to fight for their freedoms and instead cave to far-right party bosses."
