New Generative AI Ideas Presented at Host Challenge

In September, 27 Host employees participated in our company-wide Host Challenge aimed at fostering innovation and team collaboration. This year, six-cross functional teams were tasked with exploring corporate and property level applications for generative AI technology. Three teams presented corporate use cases for GenAI and the potential impact to Host; three other teams were assigned a Host property and explored GenAI applications that could enhance the guest experience, stimulate revenue and/or reduce costs. On the final day, participants presented their findings to senior leaders, who evaluated the value and feasibility of the use cases and creativity and quality of the presentations.

This is our seventh Challenge, which brings employees together from across the company and gives participants the opportunity to explore other areas of expertise and step outside their usual roles. Additionally, it helps drive company performance and supports the achievement of our corporate goals and objectives by leveraging diverse ideas, backgrounds and perspectives to tap into potential business opportunities.
