HACU's 38th Annual Conference to feature workshops on teaching and learning

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has announced its 38th Annual Conference will feature topics on "Teaching and Learning," under track two. More than 50 workshops that address the theme, "Championing Hispanic Higher Education Success: Reaching New Heights of Excellence and Equity," will be offered in seven tracks. The Conference will be held at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center, Nov. 1-3, 2024, in conjunction with pre-conference events.

The following are the workshop topics to be presented under Track Two - Teaching and Learning:

  • PK-20 Partnerships and Collaborations
  • Computer Science Pathways: The Importance of Comprehensive Assistance for Dual Enrollment Programs
  • Engaging JEDI Principles to Increase Latinx Student Online Engagement
  • Championing Experiential Learning: Committed to Career Equity and Social Mobility
  • Success Pathways: Building an Inclusive Teacher Pipeline
  • AlamoBooks+: Supporting Equity and Students' Readiness for Success
  • Implementation of Accelerated Learning Program on Developmental Mathematics Students
  • Empowering Adjunct Faculty: Cultivating Excellence and Equity
