Drug Dealer Arrest in Mount Vernon

PRESS RELEASE

On October 2, 2024, the New York State Police Community Stabilization Unit and the Mount Vernon Police Department arrested a Bronx man dealing drugs in Mount Vernon.

At approximately 10:30 p.m., Troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2009 Acura RL for several violations of the vehicle and traffic law on 1st Street in the city of Mount Vernon. Investigation determined the operator identified as, Thomas Davis, age 46, of Bronx, NY, was in illegal possession of approximately 75 grams of crack-cocaine, 15 grams of MDMA(3,4-Methyl​enedioxy​methamphetamine), 11 grams of Fentanyl, and 1 gram Alprazolam.

Davis was arrested for two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell in the 3rd degree, all class B felonies, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell in the 5th degree, a class D felony, and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor. Davis was arraigned before the city of Mount Vernon Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail.
