Drug Dealer Arrest in Mount Vernon

On October 2, 2024, the New York State Police Community Stabilization Unit and the Mount Vernon Police Department arrested a Bronx man dealing drugs in Mount Vernon.

At approximately 10:30 p.m., Troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2009 Acura RL for several violations of the vehicle and traffic law on 1^st Street in the city of Mount Vernon. Investigation determined the operator identified as, Thomas Davis, age 46, of Bronx, NY, was in illegal possession of approximately 75 grams of crack-cocaine, 15 grams of MDMA(3,4-Methyl​enedioxy​methamphetamine), 11 grams of Fentanyl, and 1 gram Alprazolam.

Davis was arrested for two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3^rd degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell in the 3^rd degree, all class B felonies, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell in the 5^th degree, a class D felony, and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7^th degree, a class A misdemeanor. Davis was arraigned before the city of Mount Vernon Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail.
