Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board Seeks Next Executive Director

Watertown, WI [July 20, 2024]- Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board Inc. (WCPB) is looking for the next Executive Director to lead the Wisconsin Corn organizations.

"Our board has been working endlessly for the past few months to move the organization down the best path for the future, said Ryan Ripp, president of WCP board of directors. "We are looking forward to the dynamic our next Executive Director brings to the mix."

The Executive Director will be employed by the Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board (WCPB) and will act as Executive Director of the Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board, the Wisconsin Corn Growers Association (WCGA) and Wisconsin Corn Foundation (WCF) providing alike duties and responsibilities for each organization. The Executive Director will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for Wisconsin Corn staff, programs, projects, and execution of its mission.

The Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board is composed of nine producers in nine districts across the state. The board oversees the collection and use of approximately $1.5 million in assessment fees paid by Wisconsin corn growers. This funding is used to support the corn industry through research, education, and promotion of Wisconsin-grown corn.

Wisconsin Corn serves the state's corn growers through the Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board (WCPB) and Wisconsin Corn Growers Association (WCGA). The WCPB utilizes checkoff funds to develop and defend markets, fund research and provide education about corn and corn products. WCGA is a united, grassroots-driven member organization representing growers from across Wisconsin on important state and national agricultural issues in an effort to increase member profitability and opportunity.
