One Man Dies After Shooting in the Lents Neighborhood

A man has died after a shooting in the Lents Neighborhood.

On Saturday, September 28, 2024, Portland Police officers assigned to East Precinct responded to a report of someone shot in the 7800 block of Southeast Aspen Summit Drive. When officers arrived, they found an adult male victim deceased in a common area outside of some apartments. There is no suspect information being released at this time.

The Portland Police Homicide Unit responded to the scene and is investigating the shooting. No public roadways are closed, but some areas of the apartment complex parking lot are inaccessible due to the investigation.
