Matz Joins Community National Bank

Barre, VT-Community National Bank CEO Kathryn Austin is proud to announce Anthony Matz has joined Community National Bank as a Commercial Loan Officer for the central Vermont area.

Matz joined the banking industry in 2012 as a Teller. He also worked as an Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Manager. He spent most of his career in retail banking and has now ventured into commercial banking. Matz graduated from Northern Vermont University and the Northern New England School of Banking. He has also taken Center for Financial Training & Education Alliance (CFTEA) courses including Consumer Lending, Analyzing Financial Statements, and Principals of Banking.

Anthony was born and raised in Barre, so he knows the area very well. He currently makes his home in Chelsea, VT, with his wife Alyssa and two sons Nolan and Reid. Anthony shared, "I'm looking forward to helping small businesses; they are the backbone of our communities."
