Happening at Hays: Kayaking at Cherokee Landing

[Link]Have you visited the Hays Cherokee Landing kayak launch point on the Flint River at Hays Nature Preserve? Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Huntsville in 2017 helped build this needed access point to the Flint River and it's become a local favorite. The launch point can be reached via the Flint River Greenway at Hays Nature Preserve and it's an ideal spot for kayakers of all skill levels.

Don't forget your dry bag, water, sun protection, snacks and waterproof camera to enjoy the trip. And please remember to leave everything as you found it and take your trash with you. Take an empty bag with your to collect any litter you may see during your journey.
