The Wharf 9 Wins 'Excellence in Construction' Award

The Associated Builders and Contractors of Metro Washington and Virginia honored the Wharf Parcel 9, also known as Amaris, with the 2024 Excellence in Construction award in the 'Best Multifamily High Rise' category. The Donohoe Construction project team accepted this award during the annual awards ceremony held on Thursday, September 26^th, at the Ritz Carlton in McLean, Virginia.

The Excellence in Construction awards program is developed to honor innovative and outstanding quality construction projects. The award recognizes all project team members, including the contractor, owner, architect, engineer and subcontractors. The winning projects are selected from entries submitted from across the DC metro area and judged in 24 award categories by industry experts on complexity, attractiveness, unique challenges overcome, completion time, workmanship, innovation, safety and cost.

Developed by Hoffman & Associates, and designed by Rafael Viñoly Architects, The Wharf Parcel 9 is an ultra-luxury condominium project that is part of Phase 2 of the Wharf. the project features 96 units, a penthouse floor, and ground floor retail space.
