City Announces Holiday Schedule for Municipal Services
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (October 11, 2024) - The City of New Brunswick will observe the federal holiday on Monday, Oct. 14. City Hall and most municipal offices will be closed. Public safety and emergency services will remain in operation.
The New Brunswick Free Public Library and New Brunswick Senior Citizen Resource Center will be closed on Monday, as well, for Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples' Day.
Trash pick-up will not occur on Monday, Oct. 14., but instead on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
In addition, federal and state offices will be closed, there will be no mail delivery, and banks and the stock market will also be closed.
