West Orange, NJ, November 6, 2024 - Nancy E. Holecek, Executive Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer of RWJBarnabas Health, has been named to Becker's Hospital Review's list of 213+ CNOS to Know for 2024. The list honors chief nursing officers for their commitment to optimizing health care and for playing a critical role in shaping the future of nursing. Beyond leading nursing functions, CNOs drive innovative initiatives that uphold high patient care standards, and their roles demand a unique blend of clinical expertise and executive leadership.
As Executive Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, Ms. Holecek oversees a nursing staff of more than 11,000 individuals. She leads the system's nursing initiatives in strategic planning, fiscal decisions, patient satisfaction, care coordination, and quality. She established the system's innovative Institute for Nursing Excellence to promote professional development, innovation and research.
Ms. Holecek has enhanced health care quality and education while continually advancing the nursing profession within RWJBarnabas Health and throughout New Jersey.
