Head of the Harbor - Harbor Country Day School Campus Improvements

Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The Head of the Harbor Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Harbor Country Day School Campus Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of an 8,640 square foot two-story (plus basement) addition to the Harbor Country Day School to accommodate a cafeteria, lecture hall and STEAM facilities on the south side of the existing school building, along with the reconfiguration of the driveway access and parking area off Three Sisters Road and the improvement of an existing temporary parking area located off Thompson Hill Road consisting of an improved two-way driveway curb cut, new off-street parking area and bus loop. In total 33 new off-street parking spaces are provided. The project is located 17 Three Sisters Road in St. James, Town of Smithtown, New York.
