DOE guidance on virtual professional learning for OTs and PTs

The DOE released the following guidance in December 2024 about virtual professional development for occupational and physical therapists.

Remote Guidance for Attending Virtual Professional Learning Options

• OT/PTs are permitted to take three days of virtual professional development (live webinars) remotely per school year.
• A fourth virtual professional development day (live webinar) can be taken remotely on any student non-attendance day per school year.
• The remaining three professional development days can be either an in-person course or a virtual course from the school building.
