Should Hurricane Milton produce sustained winds exceeding 35mph in our area, our residential garbage hauler (Waste Pro) and our residential bulk hauler (EWS) will be removing their trucks from the road and service will be suspended. At this time, following the current path of Hurricane Milton, it is not anticipated service will be interrupted but please continue to check the City's website and social media platforms for updates.
In the unlikely event that service is suspended, the residents who are not serviced for garbage service (green carts) on Wednesday or Thursday, shall receive service on their next regular collection day.
Should bulk service be suspended, our hauler EWS will resume service in the area where they stopped, as soon as the weather clears. This may cause a delay in service, we ask for your patience.
Residents are encouraged to stay indoors and off the roads as much as possible during this weather event.
As always, we are thanking our residents for their cooperation and please stay safe!
