Red Flag Warning in effect until Wednesday, December 11What to know:

A Red Flag Warning and a Particularly Dangerous Situation (PDS) have been issued from 8:00 p.m. on December 9 through Wednesday, December 11, at 2:00 p.m.

What to know:

  • Strong winds between 45-65 mph
  • Very dry air, leading to very critical fire weather conditions.

What to do:

  • Register for VC Alert to receive emergency notifications
  • Prepare for Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS). Visit Southern California Edison's websitefor the latest updates on PSPS outages.
  • Be prepared: Charge electronics, keep a flashlight with extra batteries, and bring belongings inside, such as lawn furniture, holiday decorations, and garbage cans.
  • Report fallen trees or large branches to 805-667-6519. If you see downed power lines, call 911 immediately and stay clear of the area.
