NOTICE OF WATER RIGHT APPLICATION
LAS 31821
Pursuant to AS 46.15.133 and 11 AAC 93.080, notice is hereby given that the City of Wasilla, 290 E. Herning Avenue, Wasilla, Alaska 99654, applied for a permit to appropriate water on June 12, 2017. The application proposes the following:
The withdrawal of up to 504,000 gallons/day from January 1st through December 31st each year from a drilled well, 145 feet deep, located within MSB Lot A6, further located within the SE1/4 NE1/4 of Section 10, Township 17 North, Range 1 West, Seward Meridian, Palmer Recording District, State of Alaska.
The proposed purpose of use is a public water supply for the City of Wasilla, within the legal boundaries of the city.
Per AS 46.15.133 (a), within 15 days of publication or service of notice, persons may file with the director written objections. Comments or objections must be made in writing to the above-listed address or to [email protected] by 5:00 pm on August 31, 2024. Objection must include the objector's name and address, and any facts tending to show that the rights of the objector or the public interest would be adversely affected by the proposed appropriation.
