Loyola University New Orleans announces PepsiCo as the university's new official beverage partner, effective August 1. This five-year contract will provide Loyola's main and Broadway campuses with a wide range of exciting PepsiCo products, including Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Aquafina, Gatorade, Celsius, and Pure Leaf tea, among others.

After conducting a thorough proposal review, PepsiCo stood out for their mission-driven work that aligns with Loyola's commitment to care for the whole person and act in service with and for others. They will bring a host of benefits beyond beverage services, including support for sustainability and food insecurity initiatives, emergency water supply, new scholarship and career opportunities for students, and sponsorship of events. Here are a few key highlights to anticipate:

  • Student Experience - PepsiCo will fund scholarships that promote student success and assist with recruitment and retention.
  • Career - Our students will gain exposure to career opportunities within PepsiCo, helping to prepare them for future professional success.
  • Food Insecurity - PepsiCo will support Iggy's Cupboard, our food pantry program, to help keep our shelves stocked and our cupboard staffed.
  • Sustainability - PepsiCo will support the university's overall sustainability efforts, including reducing plastic use and incorporating aluminum can vending machines.
  • Wolf Pack Athletics - Gatorade-sponsored sideline equipment, access to the full portfolio of Gatorade sports nutrition products, and enhanced concessions at sporting events will bring new energy to our teams and fans.
  • Campus Events - PepsiCo's products will be featured at various campus events, creating opportunities for student engagement and community building.

"We are thrilled to kick off this partnership with PepsiCo and excited for the new possibilities it will bring to the Wolf Pack community," said Vice President of Student Affairs Alicia Bourque.
