Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation Establishes $12 Million Education Endowment Fund

The Inglewood Youth Education Fund will provide long-term support to organizations serving Inglewood youth's educational needs.

LACOE's philanthropic arm, the Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation (GLAEF) announced the creation of a $12.75 million education endowment fund dedicated to supporting Inglewood youth. The "Inglewood Youth Education Fund" will provide long-term backing for non-profit organizations and initiatives focused on Inglewood's educational needs.

Made possible by the City of Inglewood and Mayor James T. Butts, the fund builds upon GLAEF's experience in fostering educational equity across Los Angeles County. Through collaboration with Inglewood residents and community organizations, GLAEF will develop a grantmaking program addressing the specific educational needs of Inglewood's youth.
