This holiday season, consider giving your live tree a second life by donating it to the City of Beavercreek's Parks, Recreation & Culture Division. Instead of discarding your tree after the festivities, you can contribute to enhancing the beauty of local parks through a unique holiday tree recycling program.
To participate, residents are asked to purchase their live trees from reputable vendors and follow care instructions to keep the tree fresh throughout the season. It's important that the tree's root ball remains intact, as only trees with their root systems can be accepted - cut trees unfortunately cannot be accepted.
Once the holiday season is over and all decorations have been removed, contact city's parks division to schedule a convenient pick-up. You can contact them via email at [email protected] or call (937) 427-5514. Your holiday tree will then be replanted in one of City of Beavercreek's parks, providing environmental benefits and continuing to serve the community long after the holidays have ended.
