City News Blog: Shred Fest 2024 - Community Shredding Event

LAKELAND, FL (November 8, 2024) - The 9th Annual Shred Fest 2024 will take place Saturday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 605 Evelyn Avenue, Lakeland. Sponsored by the City of Lakeland, ShredFest is a FREE document shredding event at the City of Lakeland's Solid Waste Office. This one-day event allows residents to bring their personal documents to be securely shredded and recycled. Participants can bring up to five file boxes of paper per vehicle to be shredded and recycled. There is no need to remove envelopes, file folders, staples, tape, paper clips or rubber bands.

ProShredwill be on-site providing secure document shredding services and will recycle all shredded paper. File boxes will be collected and recycled by the City. For more information about recycling and solid waste services, visit our webpage, LakelandRecycles.com or call 863-834-8773.
