FORT GREGG-ADAMS, Va. - Sometimes the cost of buying all the items for your holiday meal can severely tax your grocery budget. The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is offering exclusive deals, including deeper discounts on turkeys, to help you prepare your Thanksgiving menu without busting your wallet.
Through Nov. 27, stateside patrons can get premium brands Shady Brook, Honeysuckle, and Jennie-O for just 35 cents per pound. Hurry to your commissary and get your turkey while supplies last. Patrons will see the 35-cent per pound pricing when they check out at the register.
Also, DeCA's "Under $20 Festive Meal" promotion offers stateside customers (including Hawaii and Alaska) holiday savings on a complete Thanksgiving meal. The Under $20 Festive Meal includes special savings on 14-16-pound turkeys, gravy, stuffing, mac & cheese and green beans. Overseas patrons are encouraged to check their local stores for specific promotions in their locations.
