Letters Sent Regarding Village Electric Aggregation Program

On June 10, 2024, the Village entered into a two-year agreement with MC Squared Energy Services, LLC (MC2). The agreement allows for eligible residents and small business customers to participate in the Electric Aggregation Program. Participants will pay an electricity supply price equal to the ComEd rate for a 24-month term beginning with the November 2024 ComEd meter read cycle. The program in turn provides the Village with Renewable Energy Certificates to be designated an EPA Green Power Community at zero added cost to eligible residents and the Village.

Eligible residents and small businesses have been sent a letter from MC2 on Village letterhead. No one from the Village or MC2 will call you or visit your home to request personal information regarding the program.
