GREENVILLE, S.C. - United Community is pleased to announce the promotion of Patrick Mizzell to president of the Small Business Administration (SBA) division. Mizzell has 25 years of industry experience, nine of which have been dedicated to various roles within United, most recently serving as the SBA national sales manager. Mizzell steps into this role after his predecessor, Beth Hallock, retired in September.
"Throughout his time here, Patrick has developed into an exceptional leader, and I am excited for him to embrace this new opportunity," said Rich Bradshaw, president and chief banking officer for United. "Our SBA team experienced significant growth in recent years and has consistently been recognized as a leading lender. I am confident that Patrick will elevate us even further."
Since joining United, Mizzell has taken on increasingly strategic roles, including as a lender, franchise sales manager and national sales manager. In his new position, he will leverage this diverse background to oversee all aspects of United's SBA team-setting strategy, driving growth and leading sales efforts.
"It is an honor to be given this new responsibility at United," said Mizzell. "Entrepreneurs play a crucial role in our communities, and we're proud to support them in advancing their businesses. We have a strong team here at United committed to continuing our success."
