Senate Study Committee on Safe Firearm Storage to Hold Final Meeting

ATLANTA (November 13, 2024) - Tomorrow, Thursday, November 14, at 11:00 a.m., the Senate Study Committee on Safe Firearm Storage, chaired by Sen. Emanuel Jones (D-Decatur), will hold its final meeting for the purpose of adopting the committee report. The meeting will be followed by a press gaggle, held by Sen. Jones, to discuss the findings of the committee report.

ABOUT THE MEETING:

The press gaggle will take place immediately following the meeting. The Senate Study Committee on Safe Firearm Storage was tasked with studying the conditions, needs, issues and problems related to safe firearm storage. Additional Senate members appointed to serve on the committee include Sen. Frank Ginn (R-Danielsville), Sen. Marty Harbin (R-Tyrone), Sen. David Lucas (D-Macon) and Sen. Ben Watson (R-Savannah).
