Henry County - Drivers can expect one-lane traffic and travel delays when a project to replace two southbound bridges Missouri Route 13 over Truman Lake north of Deepwater begins the week of August 7, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
The bridges, originally built in 1964, carry approximately 16,000 vehicles per day and are in a deteriorating condition.
Beginning Wednesday, August 7, contractor crews will close the north- and southbound passing (left) lanes, to work on building crossover lanes on Route 13. When the crossover lanes are complete, southbound Route 13 traffic will be shifted head-to-head onto the northbound lanes and will remain in this configuration for the duration of the project.
Traffic Impacts:
Weather and/or construction delays could alter the work schedule.
