Mount St. Joseph University Names Katrice Quitter as Chief Inclusion and Belonging Officer

Mount St. Joseph University (Mount) has announced the appointment of Katrice Quitter as the University's new chief inclusion and belonging officer.

CINCINNATI - In this role, Quitter will lead efforts to create a more inclusive and equitable environment, ensuring that all members of the Mount community feel a sense of belonging, regardless of their background, experiences, or identity.

Quitter, whose career has been shaped by a passion for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB), brings a wealth of experience from schools, nonprofits, and organizations across the country. She has led DEIB initiatives that transformed cultures and practices to foster environments where diverse perspectives are welcomed and celebrated.

"We are excited to welcome Katrice to Mount St. Joseph University," said President H. James Williams, Ph.D. "Her leadership and commitment to inclusivity will strengthen our mission and help us build a campus community where everyone can thrive."

Quitter believes that every individual has the responsibility and capacity to influence change. Her work in creating equitable and supportive environments aligns with the core values of the Mount.

"I'm ecstatic to join The Mount as chief inclusion & belonging officer to work alongside a community committed to cultivating an environment where every student, staff, and faculty member feels seen, heard, and valued," said Quitter.

Quitter holds a Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University and a Master of Education from Ashland University. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, traveling, cooking, reading, and connecting with friends.

"I'm looking forward to building relationships and collaborating with The Mount community to honor diverse voices, perspectives, and experiences to move the work forward and make our campus a place where everyone feels they belong," Quitter added.
