Meeting with participants in World Youth Festival

At VDNKh, Vladimir Putin had a brief conversation with participants in the World Youth Festival. Davis Akampurira from Uganda, Urwa Tariq Muhammad from the UAE, and Lucas Adrian Garcia from Argentina shared their impressions of the festival with the President and discussed their plans for fostering international cooperation in this field.

Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Ksenia Razuvayeva informed the President that representatives from 117 countries have convened in Moscow to hold an international youth council. These delegates lead their respective national preparatory committees for the festival in their countries.

Council members will participate in various youth events across Russian regions. Towards the end of the year, a forum for young journalists from around the globe is scheduled, alongside the creation of an international association of citizen journalism.
