TP for UNICEF: Rebuilding Lives After the Earthquake in Türkiye and Syria

As we mark two years of partnership with UNICEF, we reflect on our efforts to support UNICEF in the aftermath of the 2023 earthquake that struck Türkiye and Syria. With the help of TP, UNICEF has provided essential humanitarian aid, hope, and support to millions across the region.

The earthquake has devastated southern and central Türkiye and northern and western Syria, regions already facing prolonged conflict and instability. In Syria alone, over 15.3 million people, including 7 million children, have been impacted by these multiple crises.

Our partnership has, in part, helped UNICEF to reach approximately 5.8 million people in the affected areas, including 3.2 million children, 4.8 million women and girls, and 163,000 individuals with disabilities. Additionally, our efforts facilitated oral cholera vaccine campaigns, protecting nearly 2.7 million children during the cholera outbreak.

Our partnership has enabled UNICEF to provide vital health services, including vaccinations and emergency care, to 3,555 individuals. This assistance has been vital in addressing immediate health needs and strengthening resilience in the affected communities.

Looking ahead, our commitment to UNICEF remains unwavering towards our shared goal of empowering communities worldwide, fostering resilience, and ensuring a future where hope and strength prevail. Together, we are making a lasting change.
