Foreign Minister Mondino had a telephone conversation with her New Zealand counterpart

Today, Foreign Minister Diana Mondino had a telephone conversation with her New Zealand counterpart, Winston Peters, in order to review and deepen the bilateral relationship.

During the call, the two officials highlighted the coincidences of both countries regarding democratic principles and, in the economic-commercial field, the Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of taking advantage of the opportunities to increase bilateral trade and opening of markets, as well as Argentina's interest in expanding New Zealand investments in our country. In addition, possibilities were discussed to improve air connections between the two countries and to increase cooperation on Antarctic matters.

Finally, both foreign ministers pointed out that this year will mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
