6:50 AM UPDATE: Route 54 is open in Rush Township, Northumberland County.

Montoursville, PA - Motorists are advised that Route 54 is closed in both directions between Sleepy Hollow Road and Rushtown Road (Route 2006) in Rush Township, Northumberland County, due to a vehicle crash.

A detour using Rushtown Road, Snydertown Road (Route 4012), and Bottle Road (Route 2005) is in place. The roadway is expected to be open by 7:00 AM.
