Route 4038 Layton Road Bridge Reopened in Fayette County

Uniontown, PA - Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that the Layton Bridge, which carries Route 4038 (Layton Road) over the Youghiogheny River, has reopened to traffic in Perry Township, Fayette County.

The bridge was previously closed in June to allow crews from PennDOT to inspect span 1 of the bridge and for Allison Park Contractors to perform preservation work.

Work is anticipated off the roadway through late October depending on weather and operations.
