Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and India

On July 4, 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov had a fruitful meeting with Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, on the sidelines of the SCO Summit in Astana. The agenda was extensive and focused on expanding the scope of the Uzbekistan-India strategic partnership. The sides paid particular attention to facilitating economic diplomacy, increasing transport connectivity, promoting mutual tourism, supporting educational exchanges, as well as implementing joint promising projects in many areas.
