TSC Celebrates 100% First-Time Pass Rate for Paramedic Graduates

August 28, 2024

Tallahassee State College (TSC) proudly announces that the most recent cohort of 16 paramedic graduates from the Division of Healthcare Professions has achieved a remarkable milestone: a 100% pass rate on their certification exams on their first attempt. This outstanding achievement underscores TSC's commitment to excellence in healthcare education and the dedication of both the students and faculty in preparing future paramedics to serve the community.

Dr. Calandra Stringer, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at TSC, expressed immense pride in the graduates, stating, "This 100% pass rate reflects the rigorous training and high standards we maintain at TSC. Our paramedic program is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience they need to excel in the field, and this accomplishment is a testament to their hard work and determination. It also reflects the great work of the faculty who are helping to prepare students for this important healthcare field."

The paramedic program at TSC is known for its comprehensive curriculum, experienced instructors, and state-of-the-art facilities. Graduates from the program are well-prepared to meet the demands of the fast-paced and critical nature of emergency medical services (EMS). With this latest success, TSC continues to solidify its reputation as a leading institution for healthcare education in the region.

The College also credits its strong partnerships with local hospitals, fire departments, and EMS agencies for providing students with valuable real-world experiences. These collaborations ensure that graduates are ready to step into their roles as certified paramedics and make a positive impact on the healthcare system.
