Bennett to Bring Disaster Relief to Those Affected by Hurricane Helene

Bennett Family of Companies Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts

All divisions within the Bennett Family of Companies have come together to assist those affected by Hurricane Helene. This hurricane has devastated many communities across the Southeast causing people to be without power, cell service, food or water and completely cut off from basic necessities. Many have lost everything including their homes, vehicles and even loved ones.

Internally, we have contacted every employee, agent and driver across the country to ensure we take care of and support our Bennett Family. We are actively addressing those needs as they arise.

As a transportation and logistics company that strongly leans on Humble Service as a core value, we feel called to step in and help externally as well. From now until Friday, October 18th, we will be taking relief donations excluding any used items or gasoline on Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Items like water, non-perishable food, first aid kits, batteries and hygiene supplies would be great!

If you feel led, you can drop supplies off at the tent located at the entrance of the Bennett Family of Companies or ship items to 1001 Industrial Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253 with Hurricane Relief noted on the package.

Bennett has always been and will remain active in disaster relief through moving equipment and supplies to prepare for and bring aid to affected areas. Many of Bennett's owners and leadership have traveled to affected areas including Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas. In the coming days, Bennett drivers will be delivering many loads to areas across the Southeast.

A load has been scheduled to deliver pet food to Steinhatchee, Florida to assist with many displaced and homeless animals that are left with nothing. A valued partner of Bennett, Patriot Mobile, has stepped up to fully fund pallets of water to go to Greenville, South Carolina via Bennett transportation, then airlifted to locations unreachable by truck. Bennett employees are in South Georgia assessing areas of need while we gather supplies at the Home Office to load-up and send their way.

Bennett has many different efforts simultaneously taking place to ensure we remain strong in our core values of Faith, Family and Humble Service. As a company, we will continue to pray for all victims of this tragedy and step in to get resources to those in need.
