State Police investigate a house fire in Henderson

On December 12, 2024, at about 12:43 p.m., State Police responded to 13432 Cedarvale Road in the town of Henderson for report of a structure fire with a person trapped inside.

One person was located deceased inside of the residence. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending autopsy and family notification.

State Police were assisted on scene by Jefferson County Emergency Management, and Henderson Fire Department.
