Meet the brokers making their name in real estate in BBC Three's Dubai Hustle

With exclusive access to one of the busiest high-end, Brit-owned property agencies in the city, this sun-soaked series will follow the young agents' fortunes as they navigate their way through this cutthroat and highly competitive world. It's not easy for these young brokers, who must learn to navigate the complexities of the city's strict code of conduct. The stakes are high for these plucky individuals: if they don't land the deal, then a broker from a rival company will. But if they work hard, hustle hard, and have a bit of luck on their side, there's big money to be made and an opportunity to live out their dreams of real estate success.

Dubai Hustle launches on BBC Three on Monday May 23 at 8pm, with four episodes available on BBC iPlayer from 6am on the same day. The second part of the series will air later this year.

Ellie's dating life in Dubai has been a bit of a challenge. Her previous relationships in Dubai have all ended acrimoniously. Luxury kitchen designer Billy has caught her eye, but can the two make it work in Dubai's notoriously difficult dating scene?

Megan has years of experience in luxury real estate from when she worked in London's notoriously competitive market. Her experience allows her to guide and support her new work friends when times get tough. Megan grew up in Dubai, so knows the social scene like the back of her hand. Her knowledge of the city's all important brunches is unrivalled!

Ben - Sales Consultant, Dubai Hills

Former military man Ben joined the RAF straight out of school at 18 years old, following in his dad's footsteps. He spent nine years in the RAF and loved every minute of it - but eager to have a new experience he decided to leave to find his fortune in Dubai.

Ben has flourished in his role since he started and has now established himself as the top broker in his area of Dubai Hills Estate. His success now sees him in line for a promotion and a higher commission percentage if he can beat his target again.

Adam and Jake - 23, 24, Essex

Best friends Adam and Jake are on a mission to take the global property developer market by storm. They're inspired by historic conquerors as they say their desire to conquer the world is similar to their desire to conquer the Dubai real estate market.

Their close and long-standing friendship, along with their busy work lives, leave little room for other friends - which can often leave them on the periphery of their colleagues.

Jess - 23, Bedfordshire

Jess is the most successful new broker in the history of the agency and has made an astonishing £35k in commission since she started. The company directors have been paying close attention to her success and are priming her for a move into the lucrative Off-Plan department, where she'll be mentored by the company's top broker, Ivana.

Jess's start at the company may have been record-breaking, but she's struggling to maintain her high standards due to her penchant for a night out on Dubai's world famous party scene.

Archie - 26, Essex

Former London city stockbroker Archie fancies himself as a bit of a ladies' man, and says dating in the office is "pretty incestuous but team building". He's previously dated three colleagues and is open to dating more.

Archie's known as the 'lone wolf broker' in the office because he doesn't like working with other agents and often cuts them out of deals so that he can keep the commission for himself.

Chris - 27, Livingston

Chris is a real live-wire in the office, his strong Scottish accent helping him to stand out. Raised on a council estate, Chris is determined to make a success of his career in Dubai. Chris is a natural-born salesman and thrives off the competition. His previous career as a car salesman has prepared him for the sometimes cut-throat nature of the luxury real estate market as no deal is a deal until it's done.

Don't let his jovial banter fool you - he has a steely side and he will not be crossed.

Lucas - 19, London

Lucas may be the youngest broker in the office but that doesn't mean he's any less ambitious than his older colleagues. His game plan is to retire at 21, so he's in Dubai to make as much money as possible as quickly as possible.

Life hasn't been easy for Lucas. His dad died before he was born, but it's this early tragedy that spurs him on to want to succeed and make the dad he never knew proud. He might be young, but Lucas is a real ladies' man, and constantly tries to charm Ellie and Jess. Not that the girls take his affections very seriously…
