County Commission Sets Budget Public Hearing for Sept. 5

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Aug. 28, 2024) - The Charlotte County Commission has scheduled a public hearing at 5:01 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, at the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center located at 75 Taylor St., Punta Gorda, Fla. Topics include a review of the fiscal year 2024/2025 budget process, millage rates, a presentation of the budget, adoption of the tentative millage rates for countywide, environmentally sensitive lands, and MSBUs; and adoption of proposed budgets for special revenue, debt, enterprise, and MSBU funds.

The meeting is open to the public for public input.
