Carter announces “Take Buddy To Work Day,” encourages GA-01 businesses, employees to apply

SAVANNAH - Rep. Earl L. "Buddy" Carter (R-GA) today announces that the application for employees, businesses, and non-profits in the First Congressional District of Georgia (GA-01) to participate in his "Take Buddy to Work Day" campaign is live on his website, buddycarter.house.gov.

During the House of Representatives' district work period, beginning in the month of August, Rep. Carter will work a shift at up to four local businesses or non-profits. To be considered for this opportunity, apply here by Friday, July 12, 2024.

"Hardworking Americans deserve to have their voices heard. Too often, Washington enacts policies that are disconnected from the realities facing today's business owners and employees. That's why it's important for me to meet Georgians at their places of work and learn first-hand what it takes to perform their jobs, so that I can be the best possible representative for the great people of the First Congressional District of Georgia. Only applications for businesses and non-profits located in the First Congressional District of Georgia will be selected. If your application is selected, staff will contact you with further details. Applicants must follow all their organization's rules and regulations regarding participation.
