Argentina positioned at Adweek New York through Advertising Creative hub 'Argentine Advertising'

From October 7 to 10, Argentina participated as the only partner country in Adweek New York, one of the most relevant global events in the field of marketing, advertising and creativity industries.

Coordinated by the Foreign Ministry and the Consulate General and Promotion Center in New York, Argentina's presence at the event made it possible to showcase Argentine talent and the competitiveness of the national advertising sector in the U.S. market. The initiative was carried out in collaboration with Agencias Argentinas (AA) and under the brand Argentine Creative Experience (ACE), implemented by the Foreign Ministry to position Argentina's creative industries abroad.

Argentina's participation was implemented through the presentation of "Argentine Advertising", a creative hub that brings together more than 120 companies in the sector and seeks to position Argentine agencies as an internationally competitive option, facilitate access to their professional services and promote exports of the country's creative talent.

On October 11, the Argentine Advertising initiative was launched at the Argentine Consulate followed by a networking segment with local companies and chambers of commerce in an effort to facilitate the generation of business opportunities.

Advertising and marketing industry in Argentina is made up of approximately 2,500 companies and generates more than 25,800 direct jobs and 8,800 indirect jobs, which represents about 1.6% of the total employment in the country. Exports of services based on the knowledge of the advertising and creative sector reach approximately 200 million dollars a year, with the United States, Latin America and Europe as main destinations.

Furthermore, in order to consolidate Argentina's position as a benchmark in creativity and advertising effectiveness in Latin America, on November 6 our country will participate for the second consecutive year in Adweek Latam, an event to be held in Mexico City.
