Long Term Missing Person Investigation – Update: R21 58258

As previously released:

On December 13, 2021, the Winnipeg Police Service's Missing Person Unit first issued a missing person bulletin for 28-year-old Cody HARPER. He was last seen in the Elmwood area on October 13, 2021, and reported missing on November 1, 2021.

Investigators and his family have continued to search for answers regarding his whereabouts, including anyone who interacted with him before he went missing.

Update:

On July 24, 2024, the Winnipeg Police Service's Missing Person Unit, with the assistance of the Forensic Services Unit (IDENT) and the RCMP, is in the process of executing a search warrant on a property in the 200 block of Selkirk Avenue. Police were granted the search warrant regarding evidence linked to Cody HARPER's disappearance.

There is no believed threat to public safety.
